The Planning Commission holds its regular monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Township Municipal Building.

Anyone wishing to be placed on the Planning Commission agenda should contact the Township Office at the latest by the week preceding the regular Planning Commission meeting.

The Planning Commission is an advisory body and consists of five members who are appointed by the Board of Supervisors to 4-year terms. Planning Commission members do not receive compensation for their work.

The Planning Commission reviews plans for the subdivision of properties and land development plans and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on such subdivisions or developments. It also participates in preparing and updating various ordinances and plans, such as the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision & Land Development Ordinance (SLDO). In addition, it provides recommendations on Zoning Hearing Board applications and deals with other matters at the request of the Board of Supervisors.
