Warwick Township

Historical Commission

The iron furnaces of Warwick Township brought Revolutionary notables to our area, including George Washington and Benjamin Franklin. The furnaces produced cannon balls and shot for the Colonial troops fighting the British. The fields, woodlands and streams of our township still occupy the land, as they did in Revolutionary times.
